Final Rule - January 5, 2006
On January 5, 2006, NOAA published in the Federal Register the Final Rule revising certain sections of NOAA's Coastal Zone Management Act (CZMA) federal consistency regulations 71 Fed. Reg. 787-831 (Jan. 5, 2006). On December 19, 2006, NOAA published in the Federal Register technical corrections to the Final Rule, 71 Fed. Reg. 75864-75865 (Dec. 19, 2006). The links below describe these rule changes. The first document is the Final Rule as published in the Federal Register. This document contains the changes to the rule language, preamble language explaining the Final Rule, and responses to comments received by NOAA on
NOAA's Proposed Rule - June 11, 2003. The second document is the entire federal consistency regulations (15 CFR part 930) with additions shown in underline and deletions shown in strikeout. The third document is an information notice for the public/press, describing NOAA's action. This document also provides a brief synopsis of the changes to each rule section. The fourth document is a list of commenters on NOAA's proposed rule by comment number from the final rule. The fifth document is the Final Rule-technical corrections, published December 19, 2006.
